Alabama May Soon Require Training for Teachers On How to NOT Have Sex with Students

A bill approved by an Alabama Senate committee would require that teachers get a refresher course on not having sex with students.

The bill calls for teachers to go through one hour of training per year for educators on appropriate and inappropriate interaction between them and students.

The training would be required to cover state laws and state and local polices regarding such things as: Sexual or romantic contact between educators and students, social media interactions, interactions outside of school and the use of physical restraint in the classroom.
