A Texas judge has quit the Republican Party after officiating his first same-sex marriage, deciding he had had enough of its intolerance.
Justice Terry Jennings will now be the only Democrat on the Texas First Court of Appeals after pulling the trigger on the decision he had been mulling over for years, with the encouragement of his children who wondered why he was staying with a party from which he was feeling increasingly alienated.

We might not always be able to explain why we’re attracted to someone, but there’s been a lot of research about why people fall in love.
While some explanations are attributed to social and cultural practices, such as a shared system of values and experiences, others, like the way we smell or our height, point to our biological nature as a reproductive species.
Here are some findings about attraction that might surprise you:

The adult entertainment website releases new fitness program that makes getting in shape more fun than ever!
As if you didn’t already know, sex makes for one hell of a workout. It burns batches of calories, works a variety of muscles and releases a boatload of feel-good, endorphins. It therefore, goes without saying that sex (with another person) can only enhance one’s level of fitness. So it’s kind of ironic that PornHub – a site largely responsible for sedentary, do-it-yourself sex, has now released BangFit, an online game that actually encourages its users to get active…with someone else.
BangFit basically calls upon users to attach their smartphones to their bodies as they go at it. The more effort that’s made the more points that are racked up, and the more calories burned. It’s truly a win-win.
Do you have safer sex depending on the porn you watch?
Gay and bisexual men who watch bareback porn are more likely to have riskier sex, a new study has revealed.
In the report originally published in PLOS One, by Colombia University and Public Health Solutions, it shows pornography is a good tool to encourage men who have sex with men to use condoms.
The 265 gay and bisexual men surveyed, who were recruited using Facebook, had all watched porn in the past three months and reside within 50 miles of New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore or Washington DC.
Erotic sculpture park? Check. Bumper cars designed like genitalia? Check. Snack bar serving aphrodisiac recipes? Check. Sex on the premises? Uh, better not.
Entrepreneurs in Brazil are seeking to build an adults-only theme park called ErotikaLand near the city of Piracicaba, about two hours’ drive from São Paulo, and they hope to open its doors by 2018. But the project is setting off debate over public displays of sexuality in Brazil, where Carnival celebrations feature scantily clad dancers and thousands of short-stay love motels strive to please an exacting clientele.
“We cannot be known as the capital of sex,” Matheus Erler, a member of the Christian Socialist Party who leads the Piracicaba City Council, told reporters. He said he was worried that the park would attract “debauched individuals.”
WHAT comes to mind when you think of sex addicts in recovery?
Sleazy men in trench coats trying to have sex with nymphomaniac Girls Gone Wild? Platoons of strippers who love their jobs more than is healthy? Or perhaps it’s the image of yet another celebrity caught in a cheating scandal, vowing to “get help”?
In reality, says sex and love addict Zoe*, “recovery meetings are the least sexually charged environment you could ever imagine! Less sexy than church. Everyone is there because of the consequences and their addiction, and they’re there for a solution.”
“In any recovery you’ll get people who are putting it out there,” says former model Libby*.

He also warns that dildos are used in “demonic sex rituals.”
A Christian author is warning women that “masturbation is a direct path to Satan.”
Mack Major of Eden Decoded wrote on Facebook that “too many Christian women are losing their salvation because they masturbate.”
“Dildos and all of those other sex toys have been used for thousands of years in demonic sex rituals,” he wrote. “It’s one of the main ways ancient pagan societies worshiped their demonic gods.”
Major added: “There is nothing normal about it. And shame on any Christian that says so.”

On Thursday, R&B star Prince Rogers Nelson, aka Prince, was found dead at his Minnesota home at the age of 57. Prince was known as an iconoclast in many different respects: as a musician, as a style icon and as a symbol of what was then the burgeoning gender fluidity movement.
Yet he was also an unabashed advocate for female sexual expression, particularly solo female sexual expression. It’s not a stretch to say that Prince instructed a generation of young women (including this author) in the art of masturbation.

How DARE he?
All your life you have been taught you are a precious flower/child of God/future President, and, most of all, just plain special.
So when it comes to dating — in the immortal words of the super-group TLC — you “don’t want no scrubs” for a boyfriend, nor should you.
You’re not just some old canvas bag that can be tossed into the trunk of an un-ironic Chevy Impala. You, my Chrysanthemum, are a lady and a scholar, the human equivalent of an Yves Saint Laurent alligator tote.
As such, you have come to expect certain things from anyone lucky enough to be at your side.
